Welcome to the home of AcroYoga San Diego!
Aerial Revolution is proud to present one of the most amazing and life changing practices in the world of yoga and circus arts.
Join Jack Rudra & Rachel Dragonfly in this dynamic fusion of Acrobatics and Yoga. This is a progressive class where students move through 10 acrobatic Forms sequentially, mastering one Form before moving on to the next. The goal of the Form is to preserve and transmit proven techniques for the practice of AcroYoga. Through repetition, the AcroYogi develops the ability to perform these techniques with precision and confidence. By practicing Forms, we learn to flow through complex transitions without thought or hesitation.
Learn how basic postures become the building blocks for advanced practice. Develop discipline in your practice and realize the AcroYoga Ninja within you!
Our class is designed to support AcroYoga as a partner practice. We encourage you to work with a partner throughout the series. If you don't have a partner, come to class and find one!
Jack Rudra became a certified AcroYoga Montreal Teacher in the summer of 2011 and a certified AcroYoga teacher in 2013. Rachel Dragonfly was certified by AcroYoga in 2013. AcroYoga blends the spiritual wisdom of yoga, the loving kindness of Thai massage, and the dynamic power of Acrobatics. These three ancient lineages form this practice that cultivates trust, connection and playfulness. There are 7 main elements that make up the practice: circle ceremony, asana, partner flow, Thai massage, therapeutic flying, inversions & spotting, and partner acrobatics. Their highest aim is to bring individuals into a state of union with themselves, with each other, and with the divine. From this place of mutual support the true self can be realized, celebrated and shared for the benefit of all.
